Proposal to reschedule OCA PGB calls beginning in April

Jason Keirstead

Hello folks; we are seeking advice on how to make it easier for people in other regions to join our calls, in order to increase engagement. Currently, everyone who routinely makes the call is in a North America time zone.  What I would like to propose is the following:

- Starting with the April 6th meeting, we will move the calls every second month to 3PM ET
- On alternating months, they will remain at 11AM ET

- The schedule would therefore be this for 2023:

March 2 – 11 ET
April 6 – 3PM ET
May 4 – 11 ET
June 1 – 3PM ET
July 6 – 11 ET
Aug 3 – 3PM ET
Sep 7 – 11 ET
Oct 5 – 3PM ET
Nov 2 – 11 ET
Dec 7 – 3PM ET

We may also want to consider cascading this advice to working groups.

Does anyone have any strong objections to this, or other suggestions?

No objection, strong or otherwise. Sounds like a reasonable plan.

Works for me.
At what point is it decided and someone (who) updates the calendar?

Jason Keirstead

I think at this point is decided, unless someone objects today I will work with Claudia to update the calendar.
