Thank you to the ontology presenters at the recent PGB meeting. Keep up the good work.

One of the suggestions that came from several PGB members was to consider NIEM as well because of its prevalence in government data exchanges in non-cyber domains (eg agriculture, law inforcement, etc). Ie do a similar A/B compare as the one presented. Someone (not sure who) mentioned NIEM was XML, and not JSON, and that affected comparing it with the ontologies being looked at. My understanding (and I’m a neophyte) is that NIEM is available as JSON – see http://niem.github.io/json/. Note that link is the USG site, that particular content is still in the process of being transitioned over to OASIS. Hope this helps.
