Official paperwork, signatures, and such
Chet Ensign
Dear Project Chairs, Recently, we had a situation where someone on a project was asked to sign some paperwork associated with their project. Fortunately, the person contacted staff and asked what to do. Please be aware all contracts go through OASIS, who is empowered to sign for any legal commitments. You should never be in a position where you are asked to sign something. You may not and should not be asked to sign any legal documentation, conveyances or MoUs on behalf of your TC/OP/PGB/etc. We take that karma on ourselves. Should you receive such a request, please forward it to OASIS staff. We are ready and happy to help.

Chet Ensign
The ballot to approve Baseline TSC co-chairs and a pull request to modify governance files (https://lists.oasis-open-projects.org/g/eea-community-projects-pgb/message/270) has closed.
A minimum of 4 affirmative votes was needed in order to pass. Both questions received 4 affirmative votes and no negative votes. Therefore, both questions have have passed. Andreas Freund and Samrat Kishor are declared co-chairs of Baseline Technical Steering Committee and Pull Request #66 (https://github.com/eea-oasis/managed-open-project/pull/66/) can be merged.
Thank you to all for voting on the ballot. The process doesn't work without you. |

Re: Vote on pull requests addressing PGB governance
#poll-notice
#poll-result
Chet Ensign
The ballot to approve https://github.com/eea-oasis/managed-open-project pull requests 56, 60, 61, and 62 and to approve Andreas Freund and Dan Shaw as co-chairs of the L2 Standards TSC has closed.
The list of eligible voters had to be adjusted due to changes in eligibility. Samrat, Kyle, and Matt were removed from the eligible list during the ballot period, reducing the number of eligible voters from 9 to 6. The corrected threshold to pass was 4.
Each vote on the ballot received 5 votes. Therefore, all items on the vote have passed. The pull requests can therefore be merged and Andreas and Dan installed as co-chairs.
Thank you to you all for voting on the ballot. The process doesn't work without you.
